Ledges Restaurant is looking for a part time bartender who is able to work nights in the tavern.
Ledges Restaurant, located in the beautiful White Mountain Hotel & Resort at the base of Whitehorse Ledge in North Conway, NH, is an upscale restaurant overlooking the Mt. Washington Valley with panoramic mountain views. It is praised both locally and afar for its fine cuisine, wine selection, and service.
Hourly rates vary and are based upon 2022 data. Bartenders at Ledges can expect to make over $30 per hour on average.

Job Title: Bartender
Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage
Position Summary: Serves patrons by providing food and drink suggestions, taking orders, presenting meals, and preparing and presenting drinks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares tavern for dining by setting tables, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Prepares, makes, and serves drinks to patrons while also preparing and making drinks that are ordered by restaurant servers.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Helps patrons select food and beverages by presenting a menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
- Transmits orders to kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests and inputting into our POS system, Digital Dining.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression.
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from kitchen
- Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
