We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including billing, collections, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management review.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure proper documentation of care plans and services rendered.
- Manage phone systems and assist with clerical duties as needed within the office.
- Utilize the software TOPS for efficient financial management.
- Provide support to office receptionists in handling patient inquiries related to billing and insurance.
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in medical office management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within a medical office setting.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with medical/dental office management practices and software such as TOPS is helpful but not required.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and patients.
- Knowledge of care plans and their documentation is beneficial.
