What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Worker position at White Oak ISD?
Under general supervision, perform a variety of maintenance and repair relating to the operation and maintenance of district buildings, structures, and systems. Expected to exercise good judgement in completing work assignments with a service-oriented attitude.
Various duties including but not limited to:
- carpentary, plumbing, painting, locks, flooring, electrical, lawn care, moving furniture...
Equipment used but not limited to:
- hand tools, circular saw, all saws, drill, welder, tractor, weed eater, blower...
Working Conditions possible but not limited to:
- Able to change from one work enviroment to another quickly without frustration.
- Able to recognize and implement solutions to a variety of situations daily.
Physical Demands including but not limited to:
- Standing, climing, lifting, digging, twisting...
Enviromental Factors:
- Working in possible extreme temprature ranges from extremely cold to extremely hot.
