What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Afternoon Daycare Teacher position at White Oak Learning Academy?
Looking for energetic and creative preschool teachers to join our team! We are a fun and dynamic early learning center that values education and encourages children to explore and discover the world around them.
No Nights!! No Weekends!!
Shifts Available: Flexible with hours
9:30 - 6:30 Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Implement daily routines and schedules
- Assist with mealtime and snack preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
- Implement classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles
- Familiarity with working with children of different ages
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and developmental milestones
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage behavior and create a structured environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
