Responsibilities
- Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar driving role.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment movement procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
