Dental Care Hygienist

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where applicable).
  • Strong knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and proficiency in dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Both experienced professionals and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with tools like Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
  • A genuine desire to continue learning and developing clinical skills to cater to patient needs while providing preventative care and maintaining their dental health.
  • Clinical needs as required by the office.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Capability to perform essential duties as needed with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions as required throughout the year.
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is a standard requirement for all new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during the pre-employment process. This does not apply in the state of FL & TN.
