Position Summary

This schedule for this position can be modified to work four ten-hour days for the work week. This role will also be 100% onsite.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:
- Serve as an employee navigator who will also be the HR partner presence located centrally in the Employee Resource Center (ERC) to address staff concerns.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics including but not limited to benefits, and leave; wellness programs; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Coordinate employee events through the Employee Resource Center including managing the ERC event calendar and being the point person for HR vendors visits.
- Facilitate employee engagement activities and initiatives via the Employee Resource Center (ERC)
- Conduct exit interviews for staff leaving the organization
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, including turnover and exit survey data.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 3 -5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- May be exposed to chemicals necessary to perform required tasks. Any hazardous chemicals the employee may be exposed to are listed in the hospital’s SDS (Safety Data Sheet) data base and may be accessed through the hospital’s Intranet site (Employee Tools/SDS Access). A copy of the SDS data base can also be found at the hospital switchboard, saved on a disc.
- The position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as phones, computers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines located at multiple locations within the building.
- Ability to constantly greet and direct staff, visitors and callers.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
