Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Assistant to support our Service Writers and Manager in managing daily customer interactions and workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn service writing while assisting our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with stock and parts inventory management
- Providing local shuttle services for customers
- Observing and learning service writing procedures
Qualifications:
- Retail, counter, or clerical experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse personalities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous front desk, administrative, or secretarial experience
- Basic automotive knowledge is beneficial but not required for quick learners
- Experience with computer systems for ticket entry is a plus
