Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, manage phone etiquette, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
- Perform clerical duties including verifying insurance, data entry, and managing check-in tasks.
- Provide patient support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Support office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred, but not required (vision or medical receptionist experience is a plus).
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
