Project Engineering Tech

Expectations:

• Reports to Plant Engineering Manager
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, AS400, Teams
• Process Technician to the Pre-Assembly, Final Assembly and Motor Rigging departments
• Root cause analysis and trouble shooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and attention to detail
• Keep own area clean, safe, and hazard free
• Productive team member to achieve team and plant goals
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Bill of Material audits.
• Maintaining print and drawing data base.
• Material and part costing.
• Developing plant floor work instruction.
• Developing plant floor critical to quality instruction.
• Development of Bill of Material.
• Designing, fabricating, and instituting jigs, fixtures, or work cells.
• Hands on approach to prototyping of parts.
• Writing Engineering Change Requests.
• Other tasks as assigned.
  
  

Education/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and managers
• Computer literate (excel, word, outlook)
• Strong organizational abilities in record keeping, filing and document preparation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and report data accurately.
