What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sewer position at White River Marine Group?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sewer B position transforms raw materials and parts into completed upholstered covers for furniture on manufactured boats.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sews vinyl patterns for upholstery covers.
Creates layout of boat on vinyl rolls.
Sews furniture needed for production line and warranty repair.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Years of experience: 1 year preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to sew efficiently
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to work in team setting or independently
Ability to understand processes and instructions
Ability to read tape measurements
Ability to read and follow standard operations processes
Ability to cross train
Ability to wear all required PPE
