What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Material Handler position at White River Marine Group?
General:
This position is responsible for picking parts and materials and delivering them to the proper location. This position will also unload deliveries of parts and materials and place them in the appropriate area. Operating a forktruck, In & out of a truck and heavy lifting.
Tools and Equipment:
Hand and powered truck, computer keyboard and terminal, shrink-gun, heat resistant equipment, and protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields.
Duties:
Heavy lifting, 60 lbs and over
Heavy carrying, 60 lbs and over
Repeated bending
Climbing, use of arms and legs
Straight pulling
Operation of tractor and lift truck
Pushing
Use of fingers
Both hands required
Both legs required
Ability for rapid mental and muscular Depth perception
coordination simultaneously
Hearing (aid permitted)
Ability to distinguish numbers and Standing
understand written instructions
Walking
Kneeling
Reaching overhead
Depth perception
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
Outside and inside
Extreme cold
Extreme heat
Dust
Fumes
Working around moving objects and Working on ladders or scaffolding vehicles
occasionally

Duties:
- Based on daily requirements, pick parts from various locations and stage for delivery
- Transport to assigned areas
- Unload shipments of raw material/finished goods. Verify serial numbers and/or quantity and place them in proper locations
- Process and update various inventory control paperwork and computer reports
- Use F.I.F.O. (First in, first out)
- Complete all assigned or team duties in a timely manner
- Keep work area clean, safe, and hazard free
- Other duties as assigned
