First Branch Unified District encompasses Tunbridge and Chelsea students in grades PreK - 8th. We are currently seeking a licensed or ability to be a licensed elementary teacher for a 2nd grade classroom on the Tunbridge campus for the 2024-2025 school year from April-June. We are committed to offering a supportive, research-based, rigorous academic program with a focus on community and outdoor education to meet the needs of all our students. The ideal candidate shall possess the following: A current Vermont K - 6 teaching certification or Bachelors DegreeExperience working with elementary studentsWillingness to expand knowledge of best practices in literacy and mathematicsProven classroom management skillsAbility to communicate with students and guardiansValue flexible thinking, problem solving, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to every student can learn.
