The White River Valley Supervisory Union, Royalton Vermont is seeking full-time licensed Special Services Case Managers at various grade levels for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates will work collaboratively to develop and facilitate Individual Education Programs for students.
The White River Valley Supervisory Union is located in the beautiful and picturesque White

Ski Resort and 12 miles from Saskadena Six ski mountain. The White River flows through our

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold or are eligible to hold a valid Vermont State Special Educator’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years experience working as special educator
Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
Technology proficient to perform the requirements of the position
Ability to multitask
Works well with timelines and due dates
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be knowledgeable of VT Special Education Law
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate annual IEP and evaluation meetings
Complete and maintain accurate and proper documentation and paperwork associated with VT Special Education Law for a caseload of students
Consult regularly with parents, classroom teachers, related service providers, and support staff
Maintain thorough knowledge of academic and social/emotional needs, current performance, and effective educational strategies for all students on the caseload
Complete student classroom observations
Respond timely via email, telephone or in-person to questions/concerns from all team members
