What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Drywall Foreman position at White-Spunner Construction?
Duties as assigned by Superintendent or Drywall Project Executive in connection with the completion of drywall projects as assigned. The Drywall Foreman will plan, supervise, and provide expertise in performing journeyman-level Drywall Framer duties. Consulting with clients in a professional manner, assigning tasks, ensure jobs are completed in due time and work is performed according to the expectations of the company and Civil Operations Director. Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of employees.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities:
- As the Drywall Foreman you will oversee the process of the Metal Stub Framing.
- You will be responsible for managing and mentoring craft workers.
- Maintain relationships with other trades and main project team.
- Document and track all expenses of material being used and the time it is completed in.
- Schedule all workforce and order all materials and equipment necessary to complete the job.
- You will oversee multiple projects at a time.
- You must be able to effectively and clearly communicate both written and verbally.
- You will also be expected to uphold the Safety regulations we have and make sure everyone you oversee is also upholding those regulations.
- You will need to have a high standard of excellence for yourself and others.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- 10-15 years’ experience
- Must be able to coordinate jobsite logistics
- Read and understand blue prints
- Have an advanced knowledge of blueprints
- Procore experience preferred
- Have a strong work ethic
- High attention for detail
- Availability and ability to travel

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
