Family Practice Physician

Summary:
Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting at Fort Washakie, WY. Evaluate, diagnose, treat, admit, and provide consultation to patients 18 years and older with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, and functional disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, admit, and provide consultation to patients 18 years and older
- Provide chronic disease prevention and management, complete physical exams, medication counseling, annual well-patient exams, and acute patient exams
- Work in a diverse user population of 10,964 Native American individuals
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Current full & unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA Certificate
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Able to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear
- Remain in a stationary position with prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking
- Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
- Communicate with others to exchange information
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and smell
- Use a computer keyboard intermittently, repeating the same movements
- Have the ability to physically move or lift patients and use proper posture to avoid injury
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
- The noise level in the work environment ranges regularly from quiet to loud

$180,000-230,000 per year
