We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Fort Washakie, WY. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, admitting, and providing consultation to patients 18 years and older. With a diverse user population of 10,964 Native American individuals, this is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of illnesses, diseases, injuries, and functional disorders
* Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
* U.S. Citizen
* Current full & unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or the District of Columbia
* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* DEA Certificate
* Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
* Able to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear
* Remain in a stationary position with prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking
* Move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
* Communicate with others to exchange information (face-to-face, listen, talk, type, etc.)
* Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and smell
* Use a computer keyboard intermittently, repeating the same movements (using wrists, hands, and fingers)
* Have the ability to physically move or lift patients and use proper posture to avoid injury
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
* The noise level in the work environment ranges regularly from quiet to loud
