White Tail Automation is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to cover the Permian Basin territory.
Position Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative (Field Sales Representative), will focus on building relationships and generating sales by meeting with customers and clients face-to-face, often in the field or at the customer's location. This will require a lot of travel, covering a large area. The focus will be selling Instrumentation, Automation and measurement products to existing and new cliental.
- Building Relationships: Outside sales reps prioritize establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both current and potential customers.
- Generating Leads: They actively seek out new business opportunities and prospects.
- Presenting Products/Services: They educate customers about products or services, often through demonstrations or presentations.
- Negotiating and Closing Deals: They negotiate terms and conditions and work towards closing sales.
- Customer Focus: Prioritizing customer needs and providing excellent service is paramount.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is not necessary, however relevant sales, or industry experience is preferred.
- A degree or diploma in Business or technical diploma or experience will be considered an advantage in obtaining this position.
- Ability to work independently and be responsible for ensuring sales routes are followed.
- Must be able to manage time effectively, travel to meet clients, and work around customer schedules.
- Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Understanding sales strategies, techniques, and industry trends is crucial.
- A clean driving record will be required.
- Successful candidate must reside in either Midland, TX or Carlsbad, NM.
