What you will be Doing:
· Receiving and thoroughly inspecting incoming shipments to ensure quality and accuracy.
· Accurately recording details of received items, including names, numbers, and descriptions.
· Maintaining a clean and organized inventory storage area to optimize efficiency.
· Utilizing labels or barcodes to effectively identify and locate items within the inventory.
· Monitoring inventory levels and promptly notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
· Assisting in the procurement process by ordering new items or restocking inventory as needed.
· Conducting regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy and reliability.
· Collaborating with team members to address and resolve inventory-related issues.
· Ensuring inventory records are consistently updated and maintained with precision.
· Supporting inventory analysis and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
· Safely and efficiently delivering products to customers and picking up orders from vendors.
· Providing occasional relief in Inside Sales, offering customer support as needed.
· Operating a forklift while adhering to all safety procedures.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· 1-2 years of experience in a similar role involving inventory control, receiving shipments, and/or warehouse coordination.
· Proficiency in using inventory management software, spreadsheets, and basic data entry.
· Keen eye for detail with the ability to accurately record and track inventory details and identify discrepancies during inventory counts.
· Strong skills in maintaining a neat and organized storage area and managing inventory efficiently.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers.
· Proficiency in managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
· Ability to interact with customers professionally.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Experience operating a forklift would be beneficial.
· Ability to lift and move items, as some tasks may require handling heavier shipments.
