JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Product Applications Engineer (PAE), you'll be an essential part of our team, dedicated to
providing
outstanding service to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be offering technical
support and expertise to various stakeholders, including the sales team, Customer Service
Representatives (CSRs), and customers. You will work closely with the sales team and CSRs,
providing them with the technical insights and support they need to effectively communicate product
features, benefits, and value propositions. You will also collaborate on technical documentation,
sales presentations, and training materials to ensure that everyone on the team has comprehensive
product knowledge.
Additionally, you will gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and communicate customer
needs and preferences to our product development teams. Your insights will be essential in shaping
future product enhancements and innovations. You will ensure that all technical recommendations and
solutions align with regulatory standards, quality requirements, and company policies. You will
conduct thorough evaluations and tests to validate product performance and reliability. As a
Product Applications Engineer, you will use your technical proficiency, exceptional communication
skills, and customer service expertise to drive customer satisfaction, support sales initiatives,
and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Offer technical support for the sales department and customers, prepare a technical offer, and
select an appropriate hydraulic motor and steering unit.
• Give technical support to customers during the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal departments (quality, production, managers) in matters related to
customer requirements.
• Create new products in Systems, Applications & Products (SAP) and Product Lifecycle Management
(PLM) systems.
• Coordinate and create prototypes of new products.
• Continued learned knowledge of the White Drive Motors & Steering Portfolio
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidates with higher education in technical fields like mechanics, machine construction, or
mechatronics are preferred.
• Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in a similar professional capacity.
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment is essential.
• Extensive computer knowledge and programs such as MS Office are a must.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3D modeling expertise
• Working knowledge of Siemens NX CAD WORKING CONDITIONS:
This role is full-time with occasional after-hours availability to meet customer needs, which may
include travel to
customer locations. It involves working in an open office environment, where extended periods of
sitting and
occasional stair climbing may be required.
