What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales/Project Manager position at Whitecap Enterprises?
Whitecap Enterprises is a locally owned and operated insulation & garage door contractor that serves all over Utah. We are looking for someone who has experience in construction who has done sales or project management before or someone who is ready to move to the next level into a sales/project management role for insulation & garage doors.
Job Responsibilities
- Work as a sales representative to prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, referrals, canvassing, and networking.
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships.
- Provide detailed take-off’s from plans or site measures.
- Perform site visits to help capture all aspects of the project.
- Oversee install crews to ensure projects are completed successfully and ensure that installations meet our high standard of professionalism and quality.
- Keep open communication with customers, install crews, and our scheduling department to keep projects on track, both time and budget wise.
Work Experience & Skills
Minimum of two years of construction experience required
- Must be proficient using various computer software programs and tools. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Windows, Scanner/Printer. Proficiency using a takeoff software a plus!
- General knowledge of general construction processes, practices and work sites.
- Highly organized - with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Effective and skillful communication skills.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand specifications, blueprints and engineering/architectural drawings.
- Must have valid driver's license.
We will train and support you to become successful in this business! A proven success record in sales or construction project management is a bonus; but we are willing to hire and train anyone who has been doing any trade in construction for at least two years and wants the opportunity to change their financial future.

During the training period pay will be salary with the expectation that after a year annual commission will be at or exceed $100,000. We can discuss the pay and commission structure in more detail during the interview.
