Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science and consulting. This role involves working closely with clients to assess conditions of hazardous materials, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide solutions for sustainable practices. Drive time often takes a considerable part of the work day. We cover the Denver metro area, down to Colorado Springs area, up to Cheyenne, WY and as far west as Grand Junction. Position will start Monday through Friday until the trainee is certified, then move to a Wednesday through Saturday, 10hr shift.
Duties
- Collect asbestos, lead-paint and mold samples for analysis.
- Clear asbestos abatement projects as a certified Air Monitoring Specialist (AMS)
- Understand and follow state and federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Must be flexible with schedule changes. We do work on call, but do our best to stay within normal business hours. It is required to work late nights and/or weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Environmental Science or a related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be a citizen of the U.S.
