Acquisitions Associate - Asset Manager

Our client, an elite Asset Manager, is looking to grow their firm and hire an Acquisitions Associate for their Real Estate group. This individual will play a key role in sourcing, managing, and closing acquisition opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships within the industry. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in office.

Job Function

• Responsible for sourcing, managing, and closing a pipeline of assets.
• Maintaining relationships built by the current team that have yielded past acquisition opportunities.
• Outreach (phone, social media, face-to-face, etc.) to new groups to create new opportunities.
• Presenting new opportunities to the Director of Acquisitions for review, discussion, and approval (assembling in-depth models, summaries, etc.).
• Managing the current deal pipeline from sourcing through closing.
• Utilizing and managing in-house analyst resources to help accomplish the above.
• Manage the current process for acquiring tax liens and deeds.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in residential real estate acquisitions or related experience (valuations etc.).
• Ability to address various inquiries and have proper judgment/experience to know when issues should be escalated.
• Exceptional ability to self-manage a large volume of tasks and respond to changes in priority.
