AP Specialist

Our client, an institutional lender to the cannabis industry, is looking to hire an AP Specialist to join their team. The firm leverages its expertise in private lending and real estate, focusing on loans to the cannabis industry and investing strategically across multiple cannabis sectors. This is a temp-to-perm role with growth potential.

Job Function

• Primarily handle the Accounts Payable (AP) function for all the firm’s funds.
• Gain exposure to all aspects of accounting.
• Support the accounting team with various tasks, with the goal of promotion and professional growth within the team.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 0-2 years of AP experience is ideal
• Will look at Jr/Staff Accountants as well, looking to get foot in the door.
• Genuine and positive attitude (very important)
• Accounting/Finance Degree
• NetSuite and QuickBooks online a plus
• Must pass a wonderlic assessment to be considered
