Assurance Manager - Financial Services Group

One of the nation’s leading Professional Services and Business Advisory firms is seeking an Assurance Manager to join its FSO division, specializing in Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Brokerage, and Real Estate clients. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days in-office and offers an opportunity to lead high-profile engagements while mentoring a dynamic team.

Job Function

• Manage a diverse client portfolio, including private equity, hedge funds, broker-dealers, fund-of-funds, and real estate funds
• Serve as the engagement lead, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, including budgets and schedules
• Expand expertise in the firm’s audit, tax, and consulting services while contributing to proposal efforts
• Supervise and mentor staff associates and interns, providing ongoing coaching and technical development
• Ensure effective client management through timely communication and strong leadership
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA designation required
• 5-10 years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with audit software, such as ProSystem Fx, is a plus
