Director Of Accounting

A leading organization in the services industry is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee financial close, AR/AP, and team leadership. The role involves driving process improvements and collaborating across departments in a growing, fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in office.

Job Function

• Oversee monthly financial close and reconciliations
• Manage AR/AP processes and vendor relations
• Lead process improvements and system implementations
• Collaborate with operations and other departments
• Mentor and develop accounting staff
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Experience: 10 years managing financial close, AR, and AP functions
• Technical Skills:
• ERP system experience (large ERP required; they are on a proprietary system, only QuickBooks is not acceptable)
• Advanced Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs)
• Experience leading accounting teams through system implementations
