ED - RN - Travel Contract - $2400/Week

WCS Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide immediate medical care to patients experiencing critical or life-threatening emergencies. This role offers a competitive salary of $2400 per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency care and thrive under pressure while delivering high-quality care.

Job Function

• Assess and triage patients based on the severity and urgency of their condition to prioritize care effectively.
• Provide immediate stabilization and medical intervention for critically ill or injured patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Administer prescribed medications, including pain relief and emergency drugs, while monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Perform essential emergency procedures such as wound care, IV insertions, and other interventions as necessary.
• Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Continuously assess patient conditions, making adjustments to care plans as necessary in response to changes in their condition.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, triage, wound care, and IV insertion.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-stress situations while maintaining a calm and focused approach.
• BLS/ACLS Certification required; additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC preferred.
