Family NP - Community Practice

Academic and teaching hospital in Greater NYC looking to hire a family nurse practitioner to focus on seeing patients in their newly funded family health center on the hospital campus. Full time position with hospital benefits including PTO, CME, Malpractice coverage and competitive compensation plan!

Job Function

• Organization making investment in more community health provide care to Medicaid patients at Article 28 facility on the hospital campus.
• Grant funded position with a 5 year guarantee, will work closely with a large team.
• Extensive mentorship availability working with pediatric clinic director and developmental pediatric physician.
• Expect patient load up to 16 per day, likely build up to 40 min slots for new patients and 20 min follow ups.
• Adult, pediatric and adolescent care provided, women's health not required unless incoming NP has the skills.
• Athena EMR and practice qualifies for PSLF.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• BE or BC as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active NY State License Required.
• Current ACLS or BLS Required.
• Recently graduated nurse practitioners encouraged to apply!
