Finance Reporting Manager - Law Firm

Top global law firm in Chicago, Illinois is looking to bring on a Finance Reporting Manager to join their excellent and friendly/collegial team. This is a hybrid role offering 2 days in office, 3 days from home. Additionally they offer, merit based salary increase each year, Profit Sharing through 401K, up to 7.5% match, $500 toward home office, $500 toward Health & Wellness (gym, etc.) and much more!

Job Function

• Prepare and present financial reporting, variance analysis, KPIs, attorney usage, profitability and many more ad hoc areas partnering with senior leadership to help push the firms goals & growth
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement
• Decision support analysis & reporting with business unit leaders along with upper management (C-Level, etc.)
• Financial story telling, ability to liaise financial information to multiple types of professionals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to develop and implement profitability analysis, cost control initiatives, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements to drive operational excellence
• Ad hoc projects including ROI analysis (CapEx, OpEx, etc.)
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or related
• 4 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
• Experience within an AmLaw 100 law firm - highly preferred/desirable
• Proficiency in financial modeling - strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive within a fast paced and dynamic environment (i.e. an AmLaw 100 global law firm)
