Job Function

• You will be responsible for managing accounting and performance reporting processes for the Company’s structured credit funds and separately managed accounts.
• Covering the monthly hedge fund and separately managed account NAV & performance calculation process.
• Providing NAV estimates to select investors prior to the completion of final NAV packages.
• Overseeing fund expense accruals, allocations, and reimbursements where applicable.
• Coordinating fund/SMA capital contribution and redemption requests with fund administrators/custodian banks.
• Assisting with year-end audits of the Company’s funds and annual financial statement preparation.
• Coordinating tax work and reviewing tax filings prepared by the external tax accountants of the funds.
• Serving as the point person to the Company’s fund administrators, custodians, audit, tax, and other fund service providers.
• Working on the competitive procurement of new service providers where appropriate.
• Contributing accounting and performance data to monthly investor letters, investor requests, internal management reports, and other marketing materials prepared by the Business Development team.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2-6 years in a CPA firm auditing fund clients
• Then another 2- 6 years hands on fund accounting experience at a credit fund
• CPA is a huge plus
