Hybrid Investor Operations Principal - Asset Management

Our client, a leading Global Alternative Asset Manager is looking to hire a seasoned Investor Operations professional at the Principal level who can help lead a growing team. Job Function

• Partner w/ internal teams in the review and implementation of participating broker-dealer agreement and placement agent agreements
• Prepare, Review and Manage Capital expenses related to fundraising across all vehicles
• Lead the coordination and communication efforts for capital events related to firm’s investment vehicles
• Spearhead initiatives to enhance the functionality & efficiency of the team
• Maintain effective, mutually beneficial working relationships with custodians, transfer agents, key Wirehouse / broker dealer home offices, and third-party vendors
• Manage specific investment vehicle’s closing and cash flow process
• Review of capital call and distribution memos and internal reporting to COO, CFO and Head of Business Development on fund metrics and capital commitment schedules
• Liaise with investors and external and internal auditors
• Manage share/stock reconciliation and proxy voting process for firm’s investment vehicles
  
  
  

Job Requirement

• BS degree in Finance or related degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 7 years of related Investor Services and/IR Operations experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience managing junior-level employees
• BDC, Real Estate & Private Funds experience
• Understanding of asset management middle/back office functions
• Experience working with Transfers Agents & Fund Administrators in the Alternatives space
