Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our palliative care team at WhiteCap Search. As a member of our team, you will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will be part of a collaborative team, consisting of a Medical Director, collaborating physician, and two other NPs. The role involves working primarily in an inpatient consult service, although there is also the opportunity to work in outpatient or community coverage.
Our schedule is flexible, with Monday-to-Friday hours available from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, 9 am to 5 pm, or 10 am to 6 pm. We do not require any in-person weekends or overnights, with a call rotation via phone approximately every 5-6 weeks.
Job Description
- Discuss care plans with patients and their families
- Handle between 2-4 care meetings per day
- Work closely with experienced healthcare professionals
