Loan Closer - Credit Asset Managing Firm

A notable credit asset managing firm in Chicago is looking for a Loan Closer to join their dynamic team. The person in this role will play a critical part in managing credit facilities and ensuring the smooth execution of loan transactions. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in-office, with plenty of opportunities for growth and development.

Job Function

• Manage and control the portfolio of several active credit facilities, ensuring smooth and accurate execution.
• Coordinate settlements on syndicated loan trades and traditional private transactions.
• Handle the daily activity of various bank loans, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Manage drawdowns, paydowns, accruals, interest calculations, and fee calculations.
• Review new deals on MarkIt WSO to ensure all details are accurately recorded.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 3-8 years, loan servicing for agency loan products, within Financial Services, such as Fund Administration, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Private Credit, or Leveraged Finance.
• Ability to read and interpret credit agreements.
