Middle Office Analyst - Investment Operations

Our client is seeking an individual to join their operations department as a Middle Office Analyst. This critical team provides investment operational support to various Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, and Portfolio companies. With rapid growth and expansion, this company offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office.

Job Function

• Cash Liquidity Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely cash liquidity reports to the front office, ensuring the daily funding needs of the business are met efficiently.
• NAV and P&L Validation: Collaborate with fund accounting, fund administrators, and pricing teams to prepare, review, and validate Net Asset Value (NAV) and Profit & Loss (P&L) items.
• FX Management: Monitor FX balances and trading activities, providing hedging recommendations to ensure optimal risk management for the funds.
• Private Deal Pipeline Monitoring: Track and ensure liquidity and operational readiness for private deal pipelines, ensuring timely funding on closing dates for Revolvers, Delayed Draws, CMLs, and privately originated loans.
• Counterparty Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with counterparties, managing communications and ensuring smooth operational processes.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting: Handle various ad-hoc reporting tasks as needed by senior management or other departments.
• Monthly Reconciliation & Communication: Complete monthly sign-offs on cash, position, and income items, liaising with finance teams and external administrators to ensure timely month-end deliverables.
• Operational Oversight: Manage and support the daily operational functions across multiple areas, including Trade Support, Collateral Management, Asset Servicing, and Reconciliation, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Product knowledge exposure:
• Bank Debt (syndicated, private, all structures).
• Real Estate (commercial and residential).
• Cash Fixed Income.
• Credit and Rate Derivative.
• FX and FX derivatives.
• Equity/Options (listed and otc).
• Strong Fund knowledge (P&L/NAV/etc).
• Experience with VPM, Everest, IVP, MicroStrategy is a plus.
