NP/PA - Bariatrics - Multi-Specialty Group

Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing multi-specialty group in Shelton, Connecticut, with a focus on Bariatrics. Job Function

• Day Shift.
• 8am -4pm/9am-5pm.
• Provide high-quality bariatric care in an office-based setting, with some inpatient responsibilities.
• Collaborate with a bariatric surgeon on pre-surgical evaluations and post-operative care for adult patients (18 ).
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, and maintain compliance with billing and coding standards.
• Educate patients and the community on wellness, health, and obesity-related conditions.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Bariatrics.
• Active Connecticut State License, DEA, and CSR (preferred, but not required).
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Will consider candidates with primary care or other office-based specialty experience working with bariatric patients.
