Job Description
Academic medical center in the Bronx is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for clinic and pre-op / post-operative care. Includes full hospital benefits including health insurance, PTO and retirement.
Job Function
- Large teaching hospital in NYC that focuses on ongoing education for their staff, lecture series offered each month
- Department recently hired a new Vascular Surgery Division director - join department of 2 surgeons
- Cover the surgery floor for vascular patients and consult for pre / post op. Majority of the role still is in clinic or pre-op post-op care
- Work 3 days a week. Days only and no weekends - 13.3 hour shifts
- Organization has medical students but no general surgery residents
