What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric LPN - Local Contract position at Whitecap Search?
WCS Healthcare is working with the Top Health System in Suffolk County, NY. We are currently looking to hire a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse within our Lake Grove facility working with Pediatric Patients.
Job Function:
- Day Shift
- 8hr - 5 days per week, 9a-5:30p
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provides routine care for patients, Observes patients health.
- Assists with patient comfort.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of state-approved LPN program
- Current LPN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain)
- 1 year of clinic experience preferred
- BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
