Project Manager - General Contractor

A Long Island-based construction management firm is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This position will involve managing a national portfolio of retail and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role offers competitive benefits and a base salary of up to $120,000.

Job Function

• Manage retail and commercial construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and oversee project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and manage project progress, adjusting plans as needed to address delays or issues.
• Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices, ensuring budget compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  
  
  

Job Requirement

• Experience with big box retail, retail and commercial interiors projects is a MUST
• Ability to maintain project budgets, staffing, milestones and problem solve as needed
• Previous GC/CM experience in NYC, Long Island and the ability to work full-time in office
