Academic and teaching hospital in Greater NYC looking to hire a Psychiatry Residency Program Director. Full time position with hospital benefits including PTO, CME, Malpractice coverage and competitive compensation plan!

Job Function

  • Newly created role, department chair been the residency director
  • 60% clinical, 40% admin
  • Clinical side outpatient telemedicine
  • Oversee program of 6-8 residents
  • Program provides 70% of behavioral healthcare for Staten Island
  • Will work with VP of Physician Network to redesign programming, need creative thinking and focus on community health
  • Community-based practice affiliated with a university medical center - opportunity for teaching and research through affiliation


Job Requirements

  • BE or BC in Psychiatry (will consider fellowships)
  • Active NY State License Required
  • Current ACLS or BLS Required
