- Night Shift.
- From 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
- Prepares and administers prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV) and records the administration.
- Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy on medication administration by a licensed registered nurse.
- Educates patients on surgical procedures.
- Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients and interprets and records electronic displays.
- Initiates corrective actions whenever necessary to ensure patient safety and care.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or possess a BSN.
- Current state nursing license (or willingness to obtain).
- 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
