Senior IR Operations Professional - Credit Fund

Leading Distressed Credit fund is looking to hire for a unique client service opportunity with a blend of client service and operational responsibilities. The Senior IR Operations Professional role handles a mix of customer service responsibilities related to investor onboarding, capital activity and information distribution. As a member of the Investor Relations Operations team, a Senior IR Operations Professional regularly interacts with the Investor Relations/Business Development team, internal and external fund counsel, the funds’ administrators, and members of the firm’s operations and accounting teams. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in office.

Job Function

• Become a subject matter expert on investor relations operations, focusing on the firm’s investor base and capital activity.
• Oversee the capital activity process across seven fund complexes and multiple funds-of-one, managing subscription, redemption, and transfer processes for evergreen funds, multiple closings, capital calls, and distributions for commitment-based funds.
• Coordinate and manage the investor document collection process, collaborating with investors, fund administrators, and fund counsel.
• Review reconciliation with fund administrators to ensure the accurate processing of capital activity and investor records.
• Participate in new fund launch working groups and scale team infrastructure to support the introduction of new funds.
• Produce and update internal reporting for various departments, including Investor Relations, Business Development, legal, compliance, fund accounting, financing, firm accounting, and the investment team.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the adoption of new technologies, and assist with cross-departmental projects such as CRM data migration and automation initiatives.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• BS degree in Finance or related degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of relatable investor services or investor operations experience at another hedge fund or asset manager.
