What are the responsibilities and job description for the GameTime Fun Park Manager position at Whitecaps Professional Baseball?
Who we are:
We are GameTime Fun Park, a Family Entertainment Center that’s all about fun, and we take it seriously. We're dedicated to delivering affordable, exciting experiences that bring joy to families and strengthen the West Michigan community. Our mission is to create lasting memories in a welcoming, inclusive, and energetic environment. Our team takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service — and we’re always looking to raise the bar.
Why we want you:
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who’s ready to take ownership of GameTime Fun Park and drive its success. You bring a mix of operational savvy, strategic vision, and infectious enthusiasm to the role. You’ll work closely with the Whitecaps team to align with financial operations, maintenance needs, and business goals. You’re passionate about the idea of leading and developing the incredibly talented team around you. You work hard and play nice and appreciate a good joke.
Why you want to work here:
When you join our team, you join a tight-knit, collaborative crew that’s passionate about creating amazing guest experiences. We’re small enough that you’ll make a real impact, but big enough to support your growth. We believe in hard work and good culture: whether it’s go-kart races, puppy visits, or post-shift happy hours, we know the best work happens when people feel valued. Plus you will also enjoy great perks from both GameTime and the Whitecaps. We’re also pretty great people to work with.
What you’ll do:
You’ll contribute to the strategic direction and provide leadership of all GameTime Fun Park operations. From coordinating with vendors and managing budgets and labor, to assisting with hiring and training seasonal staff, overseeing food and beverage service, and ensuring the park stays clean, safe, and running smoothly, you’ll do it all. You’ll create reports to guide business performance, collaborate on pricing and promotions, and serve as a key liaison between GameTime and the Whitecaps. Most importantly, you’ll lead by example, solving problems and creating a positive, guest-first culture. Like the rest of us, you’ll also wear many hats for different activities and events… and you’ll have fun doing it all!
What you need:
You’ve got previous experience managing a facility, preferably in amusement, hospitality, or food service. You have knowledge or experience on how to build and execute a strategic plan. You’re organized, adaptable, and not afraid of a little chaos when the crowds roll in. You bring strong communication skills, a good attitude, a drive to make things better every day, and willingness to work some interesting hours. Bonus points if you’ve worked with vendors, managed a budget, or kept a large team humming along smoothly.
Let’s do this:
If you’re ready to apply, we look forward to getting to know you. Submit your resume and let us know why you’d be a good fit! We’ll be in touch.
