Job Description:
Anesthesia Locums Position in Critical Access Hospital
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a critical access hospital in a historic seaport of Maine. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Covering anesthesia services in a 3-site/day setting, including ORs and endoscopy rooms
- Providing general surgical cases (adult), minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, epidural, spinal, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, acute pain management procedures, arterial line insertion, and management of acute volume/BP issues
Requirements:
- Board Certified ABA (will consider candidates in the board certification process)
- Maine State License (or willingness to obtain)
- ACLS/BLS preferred
