Requirements

Board Status : Board Certified (Emergency Medicine preferred)

Non-EM boarded physicians must hold current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications and complete a moderate sedation education module.

Licensure : Active Pennsylvania medical license

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS

DEA Registration : Required

Admission Rate : 25% of ED volume ( 13,500 annually)

Coverage : 2-6 providers onsite, depending on time of day and week
