  • Start Date : ASAP, with full-time commitment until next summer.
  • Schedule : 8-hour shifts available, no call required.
  • Trauma Level : 3
  • Annual ER Volume : 44,000
  • EMR System : Meditech Expanse
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 45 days

Coverage Details :

  • Physician Schedule : 8-hour shifts.
  • Patient Load : Average of 12 patients per 8-hour shift, 18 patients on a 12-hour shift.
  • APP Coverage : Available from 8am to 10pm in Pittsfield.
  • Admissions : Handled by the hospitalist or admitting service, not by the Emergency Medicine Physician.
  • Trauma Team Response Time : 15 minutes.
  • Code Responsibility : Emergency physicians do not handle codes outside the ER.

    • Requirements :

  • Active Massachusetts License REQUIRED (not accepting IMLC due to credentialing).
  • BLS, ACLS, ATLS REQUIRED.
  • Board Certified / Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM) REQUIRED.
  • COVID Vaccination REQUIRED.
  • Clean Background / No Malpractice REQUIRED.
