A facility in West Jordan, UT is seeking Outpatient GI locums coverage. The position involves both clinic and procedural coverage Monday through Friday.
Key Details:
- Schedule:
- Clinic: 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Procedures: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Lunch Break: Flexible, 30-60 minutes per provider preference.
- Patient Volume:
- Procedures: 12-15/day (30-minute slots).
- Clinic Patients: 8-10/day (30-minute slots).
- Procedures Performed: EGD, General GI cases, Double Colon EGD procedures, bowel preparation.
- EMR: EPIC, Provation for reporting.
- Support Staff: MA, RN, Echo Tech, X-ray Tech, and access to APP (2 days/week).
- Credentialing Timeline: 60 days, emergency privileges available for clean files.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, BLS, DEA, CSR.
- Licensure: Active Utah License preferred (site will consider others).
- Fellowship: Gastroenterology Fellowship required.
- Experience: Must indicate capability for ERCP (preferred, not required).
- Compliance:
- Acknowledge EMR training requirements (modules virtual/onsite training).
- Disclose available dates and shifts.
- Clean malpractice history and background required.
