Endoscopy Physician Needed for Outpatient Care
We are seeking a highly skilled Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage for endoscopy procedures in the operating room and one day per week in the clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform lower GI endoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and colonoscopies as part of comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct upper GI endoscopies including biopsy, foreign body removal, varices banding, and diagnostic procedures with precision and skill.
Schedule Overview:
- Workdays: Monday through Friday
- Shift duration: 8-hour days with regular lunch breaks
- Minimum commitment: At least two weeks per month
Requirements for Success:
- Board Certification: Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is essential for this position.
- Licensure: An active medical license is required; applicants needing licensure will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS certification is mandatory for all candidates.
- Vaccinations: Current COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are necessary.
