Facility in Cambridge, OH seeking Hospitalist locums coverage Rates : $200 - $210 / hr Job Overview :

  • Start Date : December 2024
  • Shift Details :

Physician Shifts :

Days : 7a-7p (2 physicians)

  • Nights : 7p-7a (1 physician)
  • APP Shifts : 7a-7p (2 APPs)
  • Daily Census : 31.6 patients
  • Night Admissions : Average 5-6 admissions per night
  • EMR System : MediTech
  • ICU Beds : 12

    • Specialty Coverage :

  • Pulmonology (Mon-Fri, with evening and weekend call availability)
  • Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Cardiology
  • Podiatry
  • Ophthalmology
  • Interventional Radiology (para, thoracentesis, bone marrow, ports)
  • PICC Line Nurse available
    • Procedures :
  • Required :

    • Intubation (assistance available from RT, who are being trained to intubate all patients)

  • Central Line Insertions (frequent)
  • Vent Management
  • Preferred :

    • Chest Tubes

  • Lumbar Puncture

    • Additional Notes :

  • Anesthesia is currently training RTs for intubation assistance, and RT will be available 24 hours.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification (ABMS / AOA IM / FM) REQUIRED (Double boarded ABPS accepted)
  • Ohio License REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC
  • 2 Years Recent Experience REQUIRED
  • Procedural Logs (within the past 12 months) reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents REQUIRED
  • COVID Vaccination REQUIRED
