About the Job
We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine physician to join our team for a long-term locums assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a 100% outpatient care setting and will have experience supporting diverse patient populations. The facility uses Cerner as its EMR system and has a team of 11 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The selected candidate will work as an interim primary care physician for Medicine patients. This includes providing care for acute visits and chronic care management, performing routine clinical procedures as per skill set, and working collaboratively in a team environment. To be eligible, candidates must hold Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and have an active California medical license.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer $175 per hour compensation rate and a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The patient load is variable, but typically includes adults only. Malpractice insurance with $1 million/3-year coverage and tail is also included. Additionally, we offer 100% transparency throughout the process.
Credentialing Timeline
The credentialing process typically takes 90-120 days from start date. Please ensure all necessary documents are submitted in a timely manner to facilitate a smooth credentialing process.
