Start Date : Starting in 2025 Position Overview : Facility is seeking a Board Certified Neurohospitalist for inpatient neuro consult service coverage due to an MD resignation. This role will primarily involve conducting neuro consults and rounding on patients. The consults must be seen within 24 hours, followed by necessary follow-ups. There is no code stroke response; neuro emergencies are handled via teleneurology. Responsibilities :
- Practice Setting : Inpatient neuro consult service.
- Patient Population : Adult, ED, Medicine.
- Schedule :
- Consults and rounding; APP available Monday to Friday.
- Average of 15 patients per day.
- Areas of Rounding : 6, ED, ICU.
- Supervision : Locum is not responsible for supervising other healthcare providers.
- EMR System : EPIC.
